Cathy Borek
Occupational Therapist, OTR
Cathy graduated from Mount Mary University, Milwaukee in 1990. Before joining OST, she worked in rehabilitation, day rehabilitation, and school settings.
Fall prevention, home safety, balance, exercise, healthy aging, and improving function in daily activities are the main areas in which Cathy will be helping patients as an occupational therapist. Her favorite part of therapy is the patient-therapist relationship: the chance to have that personal connection to be an educator, guide, and encourager. She feels the most rewarding part of therapy is seeing patients grow in confidence and physical abilities, allowing them to be as independent as possible for as long as possible.
Cathy lives in Greenville with her husband Paul and a very naughty cat, Bogey. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two grown sons hiking and enjoying nature along with walking, biking, practicing yoga, reading, and spending time with her large extended family.
