After graduating from UW-Madison in 1984 and working at St Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI, Jay served in the United States Air Force for 10 years earning the rank of Captain. On leaving the Air Force in 1998, Jay joined the staff at Orthopedic and Spine Therapy (OST) in Green Bay, WI. He has greatly enjoyed working with all the patients, therapists, and students at OST over the years. Jay is Certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, MDT. He is currently affiliated with a group of therapists from Integrated Mechanical Care, IMC in Tallahassee Florida, participating in weekly grand round conferences. This helps to insure quality conservative care and the accountability necessary for the best possible outcomes.

It is our responsibility to train and teach our patients to be the central part of their care.”

I wouldn’t be the therapist I am today without the culture of learning that OST provides each of our staff.” Jay is currently filling the roll of traveling therapist for OST, making regular visits to many of our clinics, assisting the staff and insuring continuity of care. Along with his wife Marcela, an Early Childhood Educator, they have Home-schooled five children, fostered another, and are the proud grandparents of two beautiful boys, Sam and Charlie, who reside with their parents in Jacksonville, Florida. Jay and Marcela love the four seasons that the state of Wisconsin offers, and spending time with their grandchildren when they can.
